Blitz: Capitol Hill Art Walk Featuring Greg Holloway
Seattle, United States
"Behind Closed Doors", a photo exhibition by Greg Holloway, is an exploration of the taboo life styles and sensual practices of a population of society that cannot be measured. Does the mainstream popularity of the best-selling, erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey indicate that this population is much larger than would be expected or that there is just an increased interest in these secret worlds of unrestrained erotic pleasure?
We know these practices are as old a recorded history and they have been exposed to the mainstream many times such as in the 1954 novel The Story of “O” as well as in many films based on or influenced by that book. Does its intrigue come from the fact that it is underground?
At 7pm, we’ll be teaching a Kinky Sex mini-workshop covering tips on using rope, floggers and riding crops in the bedroom. Enjoy 10% off kinky toys and accessories during Blitz, too.
Photoshoots with Greg Holloway: $25 DISCOUNT if booked during the Babeland exhibition. Photoshoots are private and can be done in the privacy of your own home. You are unique so every photoshoot is also unique. The pricing is based on the simplicity or complexity of the shoot. We will meet to discuss your visions. Prices begin at $350. Ask about the performer discount.

Claire Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland store in 1993 in response to the lack of women-friendly sex shops in Seattle. The store offered top quality products, a pleasant place to shop, and most of all information and encouragement to women who wanted to explore their sexuality. The store's popularity with both women and men has led to three more stores in New York, plus a thriving and educational website.
We host workshops and events almost every week. Stop by for one of our Moms events, Art Walk nights, Babeland Brunch's or one of our many popular sex education classes.
